After about a month’s inactivity at the blog due to certain important tasks to be handled with sheer determination, I regained my composure and determined to set to work…. My love i.e. cooking. This is one thing that I’m passionate about, that can revitalize me however occupied or forlorn I may be.
Today I’m going to begin a new chapter of my life. I’m going to live my dreams, my passion and what’s a better way to celebrate with something sweet. Since we all have celebrated Diwali few days back, festival means again lots of sweets. So I wanted to have something that is not overly sweet. My this week’s theme in blogging marathon is ‘Fruit based recipes ‘. So I thought of making Apple Crumb.
During my childhood, I had tried one recipes with baked apples. That dish was the horrible one. It filled me with so much hatred for baked apples that I never thought of making any dish involving baking of apples until I saw the recipe of Apple Crumb in a cookery show. What prompted me to try this recipe was the ease with which it is made. It just takes few minutes to throw together the ingredients and voilà: … a great homey and comfortable dish that tastes awesome when served warm with a dollop of ice-cream or chilled custard.
