Chocolaty Walnut Fudge Balls – A Brazilian Gourmet Food

Chocolaty Walnut Fudge Balls – A Brazilian Gourmet Food

Kids love chocolate, there isn’t a secret in it. It’s a well known fact. This week I’m making kids birthday party snacks. Then how can I do the blunderous mistake of not including chocolate based dish in my list.

I wanted to make something that is quick and easy to make. I had an opened can of condensed milk in refrigerator that I wanted to use. Out of various options, I decided to make chocolate fudge balls with this condensed milk.

When I picked up the can of condensed milk from fridge, was shocked to see that half of the milk had gone… Guess where??? My daughter’s tummy of course. Whenever I open a can, she licks off condensed milk. That is the reason I want to use it as soon as possible. Since I had already decided to make fudge balls and wanted to make it, so did a bit of improvisation, used milk powder along with condensed milk and malai instead of butter. Tough it increased my cooking time, yet the outcome was commendable. Next time I’m going to try with milk powder only. Till then you try this recipe and lemme know what you thinking of this little chocolaty fudge ball !

  6. Take spoonful of this mixture and roll it to make balls.
  7. Roll in finely chopped walnuts. Place in cupcake liner to avoid sticking to the plate.
  8. Serve and enjoy chewy chocolaty fudge balls.
Recipe Notes
  • You can use butter in place of malai.
  • If you want more chocolaty fudge, increase the amount of cocoa
  • The mixture should be cooked upto the required stage. If it is under cooked, it would be difficult to roll it into balls and if its overcooked it wouldn’t taste good. You can check this by drawing a line in the center of the pan. If it remain as it is, it is a sign that your chocolate fudge is done.
