I know, I know, your must be thinking making sweets is not that easy. If I say that some of the sweets are so easy to make that you can make it at the snap of fingers.

Instructions
  1. Take 1 cup sugar and ½ cup water in a saucepan. Heat it till a sugar syrup of 1 string consistency is formed.
  2. Heat about 2 tbsp of ghee over medium heat. Once hot, reduce flame and fry chopped almonds, cashew and raisins for couple of minutes. Transfer these to a plate.
  3. Add more ghee and sooji. Roast sooji till it gets fragrant.
  4. Add dessicated coconut and roast for another couple of minutes.
  5. Add cardamom powder and mix well
  6. Next add fried dry fruit and sugar syrup. Stir continuously to avoid lump formation.
  7. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool until warm enough to handle.
  8. Take a small portion into your hand and press with your palm to form ladoos. If you find it hard to bind into ladoos, add 2-3 tbsp of hot milk. I added 2 tbsp of hot milk.
  9. Rava ladoos are ready. Store them in airtight container to enjoy whenever you like.

  1. One of my favorite ladoos. I can gobble 2 to 3 at one time 🙂 We used to prepare this without coconut. It looks super yummy with the addition of coconut. Next time, will try this way. Thanks for the share.
