Creamy, Sweet & Tangy Pineapple Raita

Do you like pineapple as much as I do? Then today I’m going to make a dessert…no, it’s not a dessert but as delicious as a dessert….It is Pineapple raita. Though it comes under condiments, Its up to you whether you consider it a side dish or a dessert.

Pineapple raita is a sweet and tangy raita bursting with fruity flavors. Every spoonful of this delicious raita will make you wanting for more. Pineapple raita is made with the addition of chopped pineapple to the sweetened creamy curd. If you want a fancier version, certain additions can be done like pomegranate seeds and coriander or mint leaves as I have done with my pineapple raita.

Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine curd, salt, rock salt and sugar. Mix well.
  2. Add pineapple, pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves. Mix again.
  3. Sprinkle some roasted cumin powder and serve chilled.

  1. Ritu I think you meant sweet in the title? Pineapple raita looks so creamy and delicious. I’ve not made it as yet but wouldn’t mind having a whole bowlful on its own.
