Instructions
  1. Sift together flour, corn flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Keep aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour mixture to the creamed butter.
  4. Add lemon juice, lemon zest also and knead a dough with water.
  5. Wrap the dough in cling film and keep it in refrigerator for an hour.
  6. Make lemon sized balls from the dough and keep on a baking tray, keeping 2 inch gap between the balls. These will expand on baking.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes at 170 till bottoms are lightly browned.
  8. Take out of oven and let the cookies cool completely.
  9. For glaze, take icing sugar and juice of 1 lemon in a bowl. Best it well until smooth.
  10. When the cookies get completely cooled, dip top of the cookie in glaze, let the excess of glaze drizzle.
  11. Keep it on a cooling rack to let the glaze set.
