Kram – The Swedish Grape Pudding

Kram – The Swedish Grape Pudding

Planning planning planning…sometimes I get surprised at the way certain people plan for everything…. Frankly speaking I’m very poor at planning. So when I see others takings things so seriously and doing lot of planning, I become anxious but planning is not my cup of tea. Sometimes, on getting motivated with others , I do plan for something. But, the problem comes at the time of execution.

This time also, I had decided to make certain dishes under Swedish cuisine theme. So I planned?, when I was about to start with my so called planned dish, I couldn’t get the most important ingredients required for the dish i.e. yeast, which I forgot to place somewhere. So I started with the next in row. When the dish came out, it didn’t suit to my Indian taste buds. Now if I don’t like something, there is no point posting it as well. Moreover, I didn’t want to play with the authenticity of the dish so, postponed it for the modifications later.

Now I needed something real quick and for which I had ingredients ready with me. While going through Swedish cuisine, I had realized Swedes love for fruits. Plenty of black grapes were lying in my fruit basket, so I decided to go with these only. Requested Google maharaj to show me the path and I landed up here. That’s what I wanted …..easy n quick dish, which will go well with my Indian taste…. Kram- the Swedish grape pudding, a combination of sweet and tart pudding with dollop of whipped cream was just so awesome that I was regretting for making only two serving. My daughter gorged on it like a glutton. I had to satisfy myself with couple of spoons only. Never mind, it’s so easy to make that I can make it again and again.

  1. Sometimes planning goes in opposite direction. I have faced it so many times and so I mostly stay away from planning. The pudding with grapes sounds easy and looks so delicious. Your daughter is so beautiful..

  2. I plan a lot. It is the execution that goes for a toss. This pudding has turned out beautifully. Can’t blame your daughter for finishing it all
