recipe of masala cookies

Masala Cookie Ingredients
|Maida|| 250 grams
|Powdered sugar ||100 grams
|Butter ||150 grams
|Baking powder |
|Salt ||1 tsp
|Cumin seeds |
|Carom seeds ||½ tsp
|Garam masala |
|Ginger ||1 tsp, grated
|Green chillies ||2-3, finely chopped
|Mint leaves, coriander leaves, curry leaves||few sprigs, finely chopped
Sift together all purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Keep aside.
Grate ginger and finely chop all the herbs. Keep aside.
Cream butter till light and smooth.
Add sugar and cream again till light and fluffy.
Add flour mix, chopped herbs and spices to the creamed butter and make a firm dough.
Keep the dough in fridge for 20 minutes.

Roll the dough into a 2 mm thick sheet.
Cut the rolled dough into desired shape using cookie cutter.
Arrange on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 160 C for 25 minutes until light golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow them to cool completely.
Store in airtight container.
