I’m so fond of mushrooms that can eat them daily. Sadly, my family doesn’t have that much liking for it. Only my son shares the taste with me. So mostly I make mushrooms for two of us, occasionally for the whole family like they love to have mushroom tikka.

Mushroom masala is one such mushroom recipe that both of us enjoy the most. Apart from its taste, another good thing about this dish is, it can be put together quickly. Even if you are tired or running short of time, or have some unannounced guest, within minutes you can make this lip smacking dish and can serve it with chapati, paratha, naan or as a side dish with rice. Not only this, you can use leftover mushroom masala to make delicious sandwiches or wraps

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, ginger and garlic. Saute till onion turn translucent.
  2. Add pureed tomatoes and all the spices.
  3. Cook till the tomatoes get cooked and oil starts separating.
  4. Add 1 tbsp of fresh cream and saute for one minute.
  5. Stir in mushroom and let them cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
  6. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
