It has been a while since I baked something. I used to bake regularly but God know what was holding me back for quite a some time. It could be either calories involved in cakes or cookies, my bigger oven giving me temperature problems or just my laziness. Whatever it was, to come out of it, I needed a boost. And that boost came from our plan of family vacation. My nephews love my bakes, so I decided to make some cakes and cookies for them.

This time I wanted to try something new, so was just glancing through my diary in which I had noted down all the different types of cookie recipes that I come across. One cookie recipe that I had never tried before was Osmania biscuit. I already had heard alot about this cookie, so decided to make it.

Since this was the first time, I was trying this recipe, being apprehensive about the result, I made half the batch initially. While the cookies were getting baked, the buttery aroma filled my whole of the house and made it difficult to resist till they cooled down..

The cookies were so good that I had to make double the batch immediately after that.
