My kids like cheese chilies so much that they can have it daily without a fuss. Once I made chili potatoes with the same recipe and it was also a hit. Then I thought of trying the spicier version i.e. schezwan chilli potatoes and got a very positive response from all including my in-laws.
Schezwan chili potato is an awesome spicy and tangy Indo Chinese dish that can be enjoyed as such like a starter or as a side dish with hakka noodles, fried rice or simply with naan or chapatti.
It is pretty easy dish to make. Schezwan sauce imparts a very lovely red color to the dish. We can use store bought or homemade schezwan sauce or red chili sauce and schezwan pepper. I used homemade schezwan sauce that I had made earlier and sending this recipe for blogging marathon under theme ‘one sauce, two dishes.’
