This Sunday, my kids had gone to their aunt’s place along with their grandparents. So it was only two of us… Me and husband. Whenever such type of day is there, I feel too lazy to cook anything. The whole day, we ate either some leftover or fruits.
In the evening, my husband’s aunt called to announce her visit. Now was the action time. Keeping my laziness aside, I sprung into action.
Made a couple of snacks to serve with tea. Kids were also coming with them so wanted to make something that kids love. When it’s kids choice, I know nothing can beat than a chocolaty dish. My chocolate gujiya were already there. I had made chocolate ice cream to surprise my daughter. I wanted to make something more that is quick as well as close to kid’s heart. So what could be better than a mug cake that gets readied in minutes (in this case mine got readied in second ?)
I used small oven proof bowls to make cakes rather than mugs just to control portion size. With the batter, I made 5 cakes. If you want bigger cake divide the batter in two mugs. In that cake increase the time to 1 minute.
I am sending this recipe for Blogging Marathon #86 Week 1 Day 2
