Today is the second day of Bake-a-thon. This week I have decided to post cakes only. After posting a kid’s favourite ice cream cones cake, I’m today another very interesting recipe that is loved by kids and adults alike. Yes, this is nothing other than a very chocolaty, decadent, sinful and everybody’s favourite…i.e. brownie.

Eggless Brownie

Brownie is one such baked good that had confused me always until I started baking. I wasn’t clear about the exact texture of brownie. Everyplace offers brownie with a different texture. Sometimes it is like chocolate cake, other times it could be fudgy or chewy. It is your personal preference how you like your brownie to be. My son likes his brownie to be fudgy while I prefer it chewy.

My today’s brownie is a brownie which is a bit gooey with a shiny crust…it will turn any chocolate lover ecstatic.

Instructions
  1. Line a 8 x 8 inch pan with butter paper so that it hangs over two sides of the pan. Lightly grease the pan and butter paper. Keep aside.
  2. Add liquid glucose in half cup of water and heat it. Add chocolate to it. Boil for 4-5 minutes. Take off the flame and add rest of the water. Keep aside.
  3. Weigh all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add oil to it and rub it with the dry ingredients.
  4. Add chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Fold in walnuts and pour the mixture in prepared tray.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Let it cool completely before slicing
