Xmas Pumpkin Naan/ Eggless Pumpkin Naan /No yeast Pumpkin Naan

X is quite a tricky word when it comes to find a food item starting with it. I kept on racking my brain all these days to come out with something that starts with X. Except some adjectives, nothing was coming to my mind. Still persistent to find something other than adjectives, the other words that was coming to my mind was Xmas. So there started search for some flatbread that is Indian yet correlates with Xmas. When I was looking for Christmas party food, most of the recipes used pumpkin and I happen to see a pumpkin naan too. Once I made pumpkin bread and it was well received by my family. So phir kya tha….  it has to be pumpkin naan only.

Naan is an Indian Flatbreads, so apt for my theme. Adding pumpkin puree to it makes it a Xmas special dish.

To make this Xmas Pumpkin Naan, I used my yeast free naan recipe and replaced water with pumpkin puree. I didn’t make pumpkin puree the traditional way but used an easy peasy method to make puree. The naan had a mild sweetness of pumpkin, so it paired well with spicy dal and butter paneer masala.

Here is my Xmas Pumpkin Naan. Do give it a try and let me know how you liked it.
