Yogurt roti is a soft, spicy and easily digestible roti which is made from pre cooked dough.
My today’s letter for me marathon being ‘Y’, I wanted to have some Flatbreads starting with Y. Only adjectives like yummy, yellow, yummilicious etc were coming to my mind. I had made up my mind to make yellow moong dal paratha. All of a sudden word yogurt came to mind and I thought of making naan. But I had already posted two naans in this marathon only, so didn’t like the idea of posting another one. But my mind was still stuck up at yogurt andI tried to search if any Indian flatbread with yogurt is there and I could find it here.
Since I have never used pre cooked dough, so was a bit skeptical to that, still decided to go ahead with that.
When I made rotis with it, believe me these were mind blowing, so soft…I can’t even explain it and the dough was so manageable, we can easily roll paper thin chapatis. I served these rotis with moong masoor dal and bharwa bhindi. All in the family liked it so much that had almost double the quantity, still there wasn’t any feeling of heaviness.
So don’t hesitate and quickly try this Yogurt Roti. I assure you, you will love making them and eating them too 😊
